Job Description
  • The HR Officer in the healthcare sector plays a crucial role in managing human resources functions within the organization.
  • They are responsible for supporting various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment for healthcare professionals.
  • The HR Officer collaborates with department heads, coordinates recruitment processes, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintains accurate records related to HR activities.
  •  They play a vital role in contributing to the success of the organization by ensuring effective management of the healthcare workforce.

 

Essential Duties / Role & Responsibility:  

  • Managing recruitment processes for healthcare positions, encompassing job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Collaborating with department heads to discern staffing needs and devise tailored recruitment strategies specific to the healthcare field.
  • Guiding the onboarding process for new healthcare personnel, ensuring they receive requisite training, orientation, and comprehensive understanding of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining meticulous records and documentation pertaining to HR activities, encompassing employee files, certifications, and training records.
  • Addressing employee relations matters proficiently, which includes conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and managing grievance procedures, adhering closely to organizational policies and regulatory mandates.
  • Staying abreast of evolving healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform and refine HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

 

Experience:  

  • Previous experience in human resources, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Problem-solving abilities for addressing employee relations issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
